How it Works

Send to Senate is a mailing service that sends physical mail to your elected official on your behalf about issues you care about. 

We have pre-written default messages about each issue that we will include on the postcard. You are welcome to personalize these messages if you would like. 

We have also worked with photographers and graphic designers to create custom postcards for each issue that you may select instead. 

As soon as you checkout, we will automatically lookup the elected official that represents your district in the Senate and the House of Representatives. 

Over the next four weeks we will send a postcard once per week, or once per day depending on what type of package you purchased. 

Why send physical mail?

The idea to send physical mail came from a conversation between two friends. Many congressional representives try and respond to letters and "snail mail" themselves. 

By reducing the friction to send a letter to your congressperson, we are making it easier for you to tell your story. For your voice to be heard. 

I wanted to harness the power of automation to scale up the process of sending physical mail, to help gum up the gears of the machine. 

By coordinating together, we are able to amplify this effort and show a cohesiveness that is hard to ignore.
